Home Services Program Management…

Tom has worked across a number of program management roles, including:

Ergon Energy

  • Program Governance and Control Manager for the Strategic Enablement Program. This program positions Ergon to respond to emerging trends and changes in the distribution of energy across Queensland. The program included separation of retail and distribution functions and new technologies to improve the delivery of energy across the State.
  • Developed program management tools for reporting program performance to the delivery committee (finance, risk, resourcing, dash board, project status)

Queensland Motorways

  • Noise Management Program – developed $30m noise management program to construct noise barriers adjacent to the Logan and Gateway Extension Motorway to ensure QMLcompliance with the noise management criteria as set under the Road franchise Agreement. Program developed from first principles with technical assessment of noise impacts to identify areas of “non compliance”. Then interventions were prioritised and designed to develop a 5-year program of noise construction activities. Program was negotiated with government to achieve compliance with text Road Franchise Agreement.

Transport and Main Roads

  • Statewide Planning Program – developed annual statewide planning programQueensland Government (~$100m) for all planning activity across the state. Program activity included consolidation of all reported planning across the State and covering all modes of travel. Prioritisation was performed to ensure panning supported the effective and efficient delivery of the transport system in Queensland.
  • Road Implementation Program (RIP) – supported the development of the RIP across 3 districts (5 year program) in South East Queensland (SEQ). Investments covered all classes of transport including new capacity, programmed maintenance, routine maintenance, shared investments with local councils, federally funded projects and active transport delivery (e.g. cycling infrastructure).
